A protected route is a temporary sovereign border.
Autonomous Protection activates when a principal, convoy, or custody object must cross hostile urban terrain without turning machine speed into unowned force. The protocol binds route intake, drone veil staging, civilian exclusion proof, escalation freeze, extraction gates, and after-action receipts into one command surface.
Required civilian uncertainty coverage before the corridor can narrow around the protected object.
Maximum handoff window before autonomous assets hold posture and wait for human escalation.

Protection is not simply a drone escort. It is a temporary city contract between a principal, regional command, street telemetry, and a named officer who owns every visible act of force.

Principal Intake Cell
Classifies the protected person, vehicle, construct, or custody object before route authority leaves the watchfloor.
VEI-02
Drone Veil Staging
Pre-positions sensor nodes, decoys, and obstruction assets without exposing the intended route to hostile observers.
EXC-03
Civilian Exclusion Proof
Marks where the detail cannot act, then compresses the live corridor only after noncombatant uncertainty clears threshold.
EXT-04
Extraction Gate Receipt
Binds route closure, force posture, escalation officer, public exposure, and after-action evidence into a sealed receipt.
Route Envelope
The corridor is legal before it is tactical.
Autonomous Protection cannot enter live posture until the principal class, corridor, permitted formations, exclusion map, escalation authority, and abort path are named in the same mandate.
